In order to be able to help in a worst-case scenario – i.e. an avalanche accident with buried and/or injured people – it is important to gain theoretical knowledge and practical experience. This training document describes the procedure – from making the emergency call to first aid measures for avalanche victims – after an avalanche and serves as the basis for a practical exercise for an avalanche emergency.
